EDITORIAL TRANSPARENCY
Affiliate Disclosure
Clear links, independent conclusions and no invented testing.
HomeTechEdit may earn a commission when a reader follows a qualifying link and completes a purchase. This does not add a charge to the reader. Commercial relationships help support research, editing, image creation, hosting and maintenance.
How affiliate links are identified
Commercial articles include a disclosure before the first product recommendation. External product buttons use sponsored link attributes when appropriate. At launch, product buttons may lead directly to official manufacturer information while affiliate program applications are pending.
What does not change
- We choose topics around reader needs, not available commissions.
- We identify meaningful drawbacks and say who should skip an upgrade.
- We do not guarantee positive coverage in exchange for payment or products.
- We do not publish a rating unless there is an honest, documented method.
- We do not claim hands-on use that did not occur.
Prices and availability
Prices, promotions and stock change frequently. HomeTechEdit generally uses “check current options” rather than storing a price. The merchant’s page controls the final price, availability, returns, warranty and transaction.
